Biography

Dr. Kristina Nolin joined the River Road Veterinary Hospital team this year in March. A Massachusetts native, she grew up in small city called Gardner, Massachusetts and currently resides in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. She received her B.S. in Animal Science with a Minor in Business from the University of Vermont and attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine for her veterinary degree in 2015.

Dr. Nolin’s special interests include integrative veterinary medicine. She pursued her integrative veterinary training at Chi University and is now a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist, Certified Veterinary Food Therapist and Certified Veterinary Tui-na (Acupressure) Practitioner. She specializes in holistic veterinary medicine including small animal acupuncture, food therapy, herbal therapy, Tui-na (acupressure) and Canine Rehabilitation. Using an integrative approach, her ultimate goal is to help your furry companions live happier, longer, well-balanced lives with their families.

She lives with her adorable Lab-mix named Finn, three cats named Bella, Nikko and Zoey, and a chinchilla named Potter.

When she is not at work, Dr. Nolin enjoys hiking, biking and other outdoor activities (especially ones that include Finn), traveling, baking, spending time with family and friends and watching football. Go Pats!
